to the index of the Alachua County Public Records on file in the County
Recording Office. Users should be aware of several items:
While the Clerk's Office has attempted to preserve the accuracy
of the online version of the index, this online index is not the
official index. The complete and Official Public Records Index of
Alachua County is available on the south side of the first floor of the
Alachua County Family / Civil Justice Center .
Currently the online index is from August 21, 1971 to the
present and most document images from January 1990 to the present are
available for viewing. Narrow your searches for more accuracy.
Unrestricted searches by type, last name, etc. will only return 500
records.
Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you
do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public-records
request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact
this office by phone or in writing.
For security and analytic purposes, information about searches
conducted through the internet index provided will be logged.
Information collected from these logs will be used to maintain and
improve this service.

This Index is a search tool to find names and entities on
documents recorded in the Public Records of Alachua County, Florida. NO
CONCLUSIONS SHOULD BE MADE FROM THE INDEX WITHOUT EXAMINING THE DOCUMENT
IMAGE DIRECTLY. Documents for which images are not currently available
on this Web site should be examined at the County Recording Office.
Pursuant to Florida law the following document types RECORDED
after June 4, 2002, will not be available via the Internet website:
Military Discharges, Death Certificates, Court records relating to
Family Law, Juvenile Procedure and Probate. In addition, certain
information on all document types may by redacted from the Internet
images upon request.
Florida law requires that images and copies of recorded
documents remain on file and available to the public in the office of
the Clerk/ County Recorder.
Plats recorded after December 13, 1999 can be found using this
search. Plats can be found using name or Book and Page search criteria.
To retrieve all listings for Plat Book 22, choose PLAT in the Document
Type Box and 22 in the Book-Page Box.
Pursuant to Administrative Order #AOSC06-21 of the
Supreme Court of Florida, electronic access to Alachua County Court
Records will be limited to the information which is exempt from the
restrictions identified in the Administrative Order.
